Stoner, Bradl and Cortese lead the free day in heavy rain Cheste

Australian Casey Stoner (Honda RC 212 V) and German Stefan Bradl (Kalex) and Sandro Cortese (Aprilia) topped the rankings in their respective categories in the first and fateful day of free practice for the Grand Prix of Valencia, last scoring round the world motorcycle championship. The conditions in the circuit "Ricardo Tormo" in the Valencian town of Cheste were not favorable for the practice of motorcycling and if in the morning were tough is further complicated by the afternoon, after a Persistent rain left the track completely flooded for the second session of free practice. In all classes were worth the time of the morning, where he could shoot a little faster, but still far, far away, from the records of each cylinder, although a number of relevant data. Awarded and world title MotoGP Grand Prix from Australia, where his birthday was imposed Casey Stoner, the only interest in the premier class focused on the performance of all the drivers behind the Italian Marco Simoncelli death of the race in Malaysia and in particular, his friend Valentino Rossi (Ducati Desmosedici).

The track conditions were not favorable, but in a circuit that despite the bitter swill of 2006, when he lost the world title here against American Nicky Hayden, then and now Honda rider in Ducati colleague, not uncomfortable, Rossi signed the third place just three tenths of a second of Stoner's best time. It is clear that when what counts is the pilot and not the performance of the bike, Valentino Rossi is placed at the level of all its rivals and this time, only Stoner and Dani Pedrosa will overcome and, in the afternoon, they all had to succumb to the urge Á Álvaro Bautista and his Suzuki GSV RR, which eventually set the pace, though much slower than in the morning. Germany's Stefan Bradl (Kalex) seems to have completely cleared the way in the absence of Marquez, who is in Chester, but their physical conditions are not the most appropriate for the practice of motorcycling, so unless a "miracle" as everyone on his team qualify, you can not fight until the last race for the title. The German driver took it calmly at all times to avoid mistakes and after just ten laps in morning practice, waiting for an improvement that came half, ended up being the fastest of Moto2, where Spanish was the best Julian Simon (Suter), who though serious, returned to competition in the last race of the season and wanting to farewell. Simon did not continue in the team of Jorge Martínez "Aspar" , it shows in the environment and makes the relationship is tense, but for the pilot Villacañas most important thing is to recover as soon as a state of physical fitness at this moment is far from ideal to take most of your bike. The Frenchman Johann Zarco (Derbi) is eager to fight until the last second for the win and the world title in the 125 cc and while today was passed by the German Sandro Cortese (Aprilia), marked the differences, too clear about Nicolas Terol (Aprilia). The championship leader took this still much more calm and although he was tenth, his time was over two seconds and a half of Zarco. It rain and the track conditions were not the most appropriate for risk on the bike, but Terol have to cut for time differences, at least, be controlled at all times to its rival. Adrian Martin (Aprilia) third , was the best Spanish, ahead of Efrén Vázquez (Derbi) and Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) in the eighth.
