Blake, Bolt and Rudisha finalists for the award for best athlete of the year

Jamaican sprinters Usain Bolt Johan Blake and eighteenth-century and Kenyan David Rudisha finalists have been chosen trophy for best athlete of the year worldwide, which will deliver the next 12th IAAF during the traditional Gala in Monte Carlo.

Blake took in the World Daegu (South Korea), the disqualification for a false start Usain Bolt to win the title in 100 meters, leaving his training partner the comfort of the gold medal in 200, while Rudisha, 800 world record holder, won the world title of the test.

In the women's three finalists are the New Zealand athlete Valerie Adams, World and Olympic champion weight Kenyan Vivian Cheruiyot, world champion in 5,000 and 10,000, and Australia's Sally Pearson, the world champion 100-meter hurdles.
