The Sion agrees to meet with UEFA

The Sion accepted the invitation of UEFA to study tomorrow, Friday, the impact it would have on the group calendar I set an eventual reinstatement of the Swiss in the Europa League. UEFA urged to Zion last week to express their opinion about it, in anticipation that the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled in favor of the Helvetians on 24 November, after hearing both sides.

The European body excluded the Sion of the European League for breaching the ban on players registering after the deadline set by FIFA's international calendar. Since then, the leaders of the Swiss team, with its president Christian Constantin front, have multiplied their appeals to the ordinary courts.

The latest move was reported to UEFA before the European Commission so that the club understood to be violations of Community law. The four teams in Group I of the Europa League, including the athlete, UEFA met two weeks ago.
