Jorge Lorenzo will race in the Grand Prix of Valencia

Team Yamaha Factory Racing has confirmed on Wednesday that the Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo will not compete this weekend in the final round of the MotoGP World Championship, Grand Prix of Valencia. Jorge Lorenzo continues his recovery process of the operation which was put on the ring finger of his left hand that was injured three weeks ago at Phillip Island (Australia). "The injuries require a recovery period to allow more driving at a good level of competitiveness," the team reports. The Spaniard rider, world champion in 2010, Valencia will be replaced by the Japanese Katsuyuki Nakasuga , test pilot who competes in All Japan Superbike Championship. This will be his second appearance in a MotoGP race. In addition, the team reports that Yamaha riders coming week will test the bike than 1,000 cc will be announced on November 7.
