Beckham's MLS move to the NBA as the third game in the U.S.

The NBA, once example of organization and marketing, are seeing as the 'lockout' affects not only owners and players, but also to the popularity of the league. While negotiations continue to resolve the conflict and profit-sharing talks, the NBA has seen other sports you win the game in the preference of the fans.

This is the case of football. A growing sport that has not enjoyed great popularity has placed third in the hearts of fans. At least in stadium attendance is concerned. MLS attendance has grown by 6.6% and is placed just behind the NFL and baseball as a third sport in the United States, leaving the NBA in fourth place.

An average of 17,870 fans attended MLS games during last season, representing 3% more than in the NBA and 4.1% more than the NHL.
