Rosberg Mercedes renews

Nico Rosberg signed a multiyear contract with Mercedes GP Petronas team comprising "the 2013 season and beyond," according to the team revealed in a statement.

Thus, next year the 'Silver Arrows' will for the third consecutive year the same pair of pilots formed by the seven times world champion Michael Schumacher, Rosberg himself.

Rosberg, seventh in the standings this season, came to Mercedes in 2010 and has since climbed the podium three times and has added 217 points.
