LeBron James gets 43 points for "basketball never stops"

While the owners and players struggled to figure out the future course in a group of NBA players participating in a charity match.

Rudy Gay (Grizzlies) organized a charity match in Memphis attended by top players like LeBron James (Heat) or Kevin Durant (Thunder), with the motto "ever to basketball" on their shirts.

"I can only say that as players ... we just want to play," Gay said of the meetings between owners and players' union.

LeBron stood out with 43 points, leading the team win by 158-151 on the whole led by Gay (45 points).

Other highlights of the meeting were the Grizzlies rookie Josh Selby (32 points), Kevin Durant (29 points) or Terrica White (29).

In minutes the game was also the former player Penny Hardaway, who managed to score 8 points.
