Valentino Rossi: "2011 has been the worst year of my career"

Valentino Rossi looking for fun these days in the Rally of Monza, which usually go to kill the itch to go on a rally car, one of his passions. The Italian has wanted to be faithful to the Lombard appointment and did not alter his plans or by the test with Ducati in 2012 in Jerez last week. There will be time to ride the bike.

'The Doctor', between batch and batch, spoke to take stock of their season and did not cut the value. "Being here is a good way to end the year, which surely was the worst of my career. The balance of 2011 is disastrous. A Santa Claus as a gift I ask that the Ducati GP12 is competitive," he said.

It hopes that the increase in training allowed during the next year will prove to be closer to Honda and Yamaha. "We have a very different bike. We hope to be faster and more competitive. The fact that there have been more limited test is fair and helps us," he said.

Rossi also had a memory for his friend who died in Malaysia Simoncelli and used to participate in the Rally of Monza. "Marco is gone, but she is," in reference to all the tributes that are being done.
