LONDON OLYMPICS: Five runners on the road time trial

Spain will have the maximum representation, five runners in the test route and two in the time trial in cycling events of the 2012 London Olympics, as confirmed by the UCI.

With a total of 140 participants in the online test, only 9 countries will have five riders on their computers. These nine countries are Austria, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States.

In the time trial involved 40 riders and a maximum of 2 per country, height reach only eight Olympic committees, those of Austria, Denmark, Spain, Britain, Germany, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

The list of countries with the highest representation in the two tests is reduced to six, Austria, Spain, Britain, Germany, Holland and Switzerland. In the women, the allocation of places will be held on May 31, 2012.
