New Jersey could host a Grand Prix Formula 1 urban

The U.S. city of New Jersey could host a Formula 1 Grand Prix starting in 2013 , a circuit that will cross the Hudson River with the iconic Manhattan skyline as backdrop.


According to a report of the magazine 'Autosport' gathered by Europa Press, the announcement may be officially next week. With this one, and two Grand Prix would be held in the United States after already confirming the election of Austin, Texas, as a stage to host a Grand Prix from next season.

Nevertheless, Bernie Ecclestone did not hide his desire to hold another race in the country and last year dropped him with a statement: "It's happening. We are talking to try to do my best. We'll see what happens," said . The magazine seems to have finally reached an agreement and will race through the streets of New Jersey in June 2013.

'The Wall Street Journal has said that next Tuesday is scheduled a news conference where the announcement could be made by the governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, and other local politicians.
