Vettel may not equal the record of wins for Schumacher

The double world champion Sebastian Vettel, who on Saturday equaled the record for pole positions in a season of Nigel Mansell, you can not do the same with the world record for victories in a season that has Michael Schumacher (13 wins in 2004).

Vettel, winner of 11 races this season, had to leave the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi in the first round after suffering a puncture and can no longer reach 13 victories this year 2011.

The German driver started from pole in Abu Dhabi during the first round but suffered a puncture and went off the track. Vettel went to the pits but the damage in his Red Bull were already beyond repair and abandoned.

The last time that Vettel had to abandon a career was in the Korean Grand Prix last year when a mechanical failure prevented him from finishing the test while leading the race.
