Renault recognizes contacts with Raikkonen

Eric Boullier, Renault team principal, acknowledged contacts to recruit Kimi Raikkonen, who has expressed interest in returning to Formula 1 after two years contesting the World Rally Championship.

Raikkonen said recently that "anything" is possible, but still "there was nothing decided," because it also has acknowledged contacts with Williams. "There are many different options and of course lots of speculation," he said.

Boullier has acknowledged in an interview to 'formula1.com' contacts with Finland. "There has been contact with his manager. I have explained what we want for next season," reveals the head of Renault, a team whose driver pairing seems more unstable since, among other things, have the "moral obligation give a chance "to Robert Kubica.

"I'm waiting to talk to him to see how it feels and I need your commitment. We also need a recovery plan if your not going as planned because we will not penalize the team. It was he who got me in trouble and if you can not return it to me has to say. We have to be stupid, we need a plan, "he reiterated Boullier.
