San Jose pours in The Red

Spain held its first training in Costa Rica before the eyes of dozens of fans who took advantage of any space to see their idols even from afar.

It was a workout of about an hour in which the Spanish players made light jogging, stretching muscles and a little action with the ball with the intention to catch up after the long trip from England, where they fell 1-0 on Saturday combined with the English in a friendly.

The training was seen by dozens of fans who went to the fence surrounding the court's Goal Project Costa Rican Football Federation, and even many managed to enter the players autographs.

David Villa, Iker Casillas, and Xabi Alonso were among those who signed shirts and balls to his followers, but no Spanish footballer gave statements to the press.

For Monday's Red is scheduled to meet with the president of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla, and made his second and final session, this time at the National Stadium in San Jose, party headquarters next Tuesday.
