Latvala wins in Britain after the abandonment of Loeb

Finland's Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) took victory in the final round of World Rally, Great Britain, after the Frenchman Sebastien Loeb (Citroen), who departed this dominfo in the fight for victory, suffered an accident on the link of the second tranche.

The pilot, with his eighth title already secured, he found a private car driving in the opposite direction on the link that takes you from the first stage to the second. Although those involved in the accident were not injured, damage to the vehicle could not continue to Loeb.

Until then, French and Scandinavian were in full fight be the last rally of the season, but with Latvala in front and extending the gap to the multichampion.

Second has been the Norwegian Mads Otsberg (Ford) and Henning Solberg third fellow (Ford), who focused on the end of the rally with the gradual approach of the British Kris Meeke (Mini) today, although a small outlet in the last section prevented him pass when everything pointed to that would get it.
