Yvan Muller retains world title

The Frenchman Yvan Muller held the world title even though their cars teammate Chevrolet, Britain's Rob Huff won the last race in Macao.

Huff needed to win the race and that Muller was fifth best result, to achieve the title, and so went on the attack from the start.

The output of the safety car on lap seven, allowed all participants to regroup and pull back even stronger Huff Group, Muller rose to fourth place, giving him some security.

Tom Coronel managed to clinch second place and Muller to the third and remained so until the checkered flag, Muller signed the revalidation of the title.
