Alvaro Quiros wins the Dubai Champions Final

Alvaro Quiros historic win in the final European Tour that was played in Dubai. The Cadiz achieved in the Jumeirah Golf Estates most important victory of his career and the most outstanding Spanish golf in the last three years. Pablo Larrazabal also Spanish ended in tenth place, while Sergio Garcia did in the eleventh, nine strokes Quirós.

Alvaro Quiros achieved this victory in style, with an 'eagle' (two less) on the final hole of his round. Quiros was able to withstand the pressure that the Scot Paul Lawrie submitted from the outset, although the two were tied hole 13.
