Poulter, first leader of Australia Masters

Ian Poulter English in Australia leads the Masters, played at the Victoria Golf Club, after defeating the opening day, while his compatriot Luke Donald, world number one is four strokes.

Poulter finished the round with a card with 65 strokes, one less than the Australian Ashley Hall, and then figure a sextet to two impacts.

Donald is the expectation with 69 and defending champion Stuart Appleby, 70 made at the last minute after deciding that it was able to play. "I've been pretty good in the second half of the course. In the first nine holes are not stuck my putts," said world number one.
