Yani Tseng challenges men

Yani Tseng, number one golf world is convinced she can do well with men. The Taiwanese, who is doing a season on the LPGA almost historical, has expressed his desire to play a PGA tournament in order to measure forces with the men's golf.

The tremendous domain in 2011 has come Tseng has become a dictatorship. He has now been eleven wins (including two majors) and is just two of the absolute record of the legendary Annika Sorestam. Site Statistics leads the couple of days under (50 of 51), birdies (333), greens in regulation (0.760) and, above all, made the drive yards (269 102).

Tseng For many it has outgrown the LPGA. Comparing his numbers with those of the men's tour, it seems clear that lost more than 20 yards from the tee (the average in the PGA is 290) may pose an additional difficulty. Just one fact: Brian Gay, last-ranked male player 'driving distance', has an average of 269.8 yards, just over Tseng. But the consolation is that Taiwan's Gay wins this year over one million dollars (position 82 in the FedEx Cup) hitting 'very weak' from the tee.

"I want to have fun"
Yani Tseng is very curious to see what her performance in a men's tournament. "If there is the possibility, I would play a tournament on the PGA Tour. I do not care about the results, because all I want is to have fun with the feeling of playing with boys to learn and improve."

Tseng's words did not fall on deaf ears and hours later received an invitation from Puerto Rico Open (included in the PGA Tour). Tournament director justifies "having here the world's No. 1 would open the door to many foreign audience. In addition, increase the collection of funds for our charities and open the door to the possibility that one day tournament held here LPGA Tour. "

After much thought, Tseng has decided to decline the invitation on the grounds that "now would be a distraction" too big for her. So we will wait to see how it ends the cracking of the player. Recall that the Taiwanese would not be the first woman to play in a men's tournament. Babe Zaharias, Annika Sorestam, Suzy Whaley and Michelle Wie and tried to measure forces with the 'boys', being the only Zaharias did make the cut in 1945. 4lv4r0.r
