Who discovered Sahin? Marcelo!


Neither Zidane nor Mourinho nor Pardeza. The discoverer of the Madrid Sahin was Marcelo. The white side was the first to see first hand the sheer quality of the brand new Real Madrid signing. He knows better than anyone how he spends the Turkish midfielder.

It happened six years ago, a September 29, 2005. Both sides were in the under-17 World Cup semifinals, played in Peru. Brazil and Turkey played a hole in the final. Marcelo was the headline in a choice left-back led by Anderson, current Manchester United player.
