Cilic again to savor the sweetness of success in St. Petersburg

Marin Cilic became champion of the tournament in St. Petersburg after the final bend to Janko Tipsarevic in three sets. This is the first title of the season and sixth in his career for the player of Medjugorje.

The Croatian Marin Cilic beat Serbian Janko Tipsarevic by an aggregate score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 after two hours and fifteen minutes of play. Since twisted won his first professional New Haven in 2008, Cilic had not missed his appointment with the success of each season. The Bosnian-born Croatian raised his trophy last February 7, 2010 after winning the tournament in Zagreb. Since then, he had been at the gates of Munich title in 2010, Marseille 2011, Umag 2011 and Beijing 2011. It had to be against fellow Tipsarevic in a hotly contested final, in which did not start as a favorite when he got to break that losing streak in finals and add a new scepter to their windows.
